TL;DR The short version, in plain language.
  • The anltcs tracking script sets no cookies on your websites. Cookieless is the default, not an option you have to enable.
  • This website uses only the cookies needed to keep you logged in and protect forms. No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
  • Third-party cookies appear only when you connect an external service, like Stripe checkout, and only on those pages.
  • You can clear or block cookies in your browser at any time. The dashboard needs the session cookie to work.

The summary is here for convenience. If it ever disagrees with the full text below, the full text wins.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser so it can remember something between page loads: that you are logged in, which language you chose, or that you already dismissed a notice. Similar technologies, such as local storage, serve the same purpose. This policy covers all of them.

On your websites: none

The anltcs tracking script is cookieless. It does not set cookies, does not write to local storage and does not read identifiers set by anyone else. Unique visitors are counted with a short-lived hash that is computed on our servers and never stored in the visitor's browser.

Because nothing is stored on the visitor's device, the script does not trigger the consent requirements that apply to cookies under the ePrivacy rules in most jurisdictions. Whether a cookie banner is needed for your website as a whole still depends on what else the website does; we cannot answer that for you.

On this website and in the dashboard

We use a small number of first-party cookies, all of them strictly necessary:

CookiePurposeLifetime
XSRF-TOKENProtects forms and API requests against cross-site request forgery.Session
*_sessionKeeps you logged in to the dashboard and remembers your preferences.Session, or up to 30 days if you tick "remember me"
cookie_lawRemembers that you have seen this notice so we do not show it again.1 year

We do not use analytics cookies on our own website either. We use anltcs, cookieless, the same way you would.

Third-party cookies

Some pages load content from other companies, and those companies may set their own cookies:

  • Payments. The checkout is provided by our payment provider, which uses cookies for fraud prevention and to complete the payment.
  • Integrations. When you connect Stripe, Google Ads, Meta Ads, Search Console or Shopify, you are redirected to that provider to grant access. Their cookies are governed by their own policies.
  • Captcha. If we enable a captcha on a form, its provider may set a cookie to tell humans from bots.

How to control cookies

Every browser lets you view, delete and block cookies, either for all websites or for specific ones. Instructions are in the help pages of Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge. If you block the session cookie you will not be able to log in to the dashboard, because there is no other way for us to know it is you.

Changes to this policy

If we add a cookie, we will add it to the table above and update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be announced in the dashboard.
